Description | Basic Counseling Skills: This course is designed to facilitate development of basic communication skills necessary to develop an effective helping relationship with clients. It includes the utilization of special skills to assist individuals, families, or groups in achieving objectives through exploration of a problem and it's ramifications; examination of alternative solutions; and decision making. | ||||||||

I will not discuss your grades over the phone or through your personal email. If you want to discuss your grades, you must come to my office, in person. Late work will not be accepted. If you know you're going to be out, submit your assignment, or schedule to take your quiz or test in advance. I will evaluate the class' progress and adjust the course schedule as necessary. |
